editor - How to Find & Remove instead of replace -

i'm using atom editor projects. when existing projects , want remove elements several files, want create "search , replace" throughout project.

but instead of replacing element, want remove it.

is there string or symbol can set replace field "remove" searched element?

i'm not familiar atom, typical editor remove found item replacing empty string.
