i need process video (trim, encoding , other) in azure worker role. found nil .net library. found windows.media in windows kit (winrt - winows.winmd file). referenced metadata azure worker, not work (error: requested windows runtime type 'windows.media.mediaproperties.mediaencodingprofile' not registered.) expect due azure worker role have not com object's. worker role based on windows server 2012, have it. has idea? or how can process video in azure worker role.

i think has media foundation , others desktop experience components not beingness installed default on server. might need write startup task install/enable features , maybe codecs need.
