XNA game does not compile on Windows 8.1 -

i moved xna game project windows 7 computer new windows 8.1 computer. still using visual studio 2010 express. after overcoming xna installation troubles game cannot compiled on new computer.

the error message reads "this application cannot started because of false application configuration". see manifest file possible errors." cannot see wrong manifest file. don't know supposed in there.

if start compiled exe outside of vs 2010 message box says "side-by-side configuration invalid".

i picked problem after abandoning while: created new xna project on windows 8.1 computer , copying code , resources. compiled fine.
