ok, have excel file have column may contain duplicate value

i need count how many times appeared on column , place beside first occurrence of word. problem po number not sorted values may repeat on lower rows of excel. tried (lookup, match, countif, if) , nil seems work. please help? in advance

assuming info give in a1:b18 (with headers in row 1), come in in b2:

copy downwards required.

amend 1000 sufficiently higher row reference if necessary.
