sonar can never past next line in sonar.log

there no exceptions in log, connected database via hibernate correctly, no issues far can tell. i've gone far a) drop , recreate database b) restart machine c) delete , reinstall software

i've left sonar running 20+ minutes no alter in log. connecting via browser times out.
