coldfusion - Save Word HTML document as "Word Document" -

i have reports written in "word html" served users normal word document (.doc) via content-type="application/msword". however, when user attempts "save ..." 1 of these reports, word automatically defaults "save type:" "web page". there way alter word default "word document" when saving?

i using coldfusion running on ubuntu serve reports.

as know, <cfcontent> changes mime type of http response, not alter info beingness returned @ all. given you've sent html data, how word treat it.

if want word treat doc native word doc, need send it native word doc.

i've got no experience in doing this, might want @ apache poi offers way of creating native word docs. alternatively microsoft offer api doc creation / manipulation (cannae find link, sorry), else at.
