asp.net - Ticking timers in Kendo UI grid -

kinda new this. i'm trying implement kendo ui grid command in info of 1 of columns represents how long user has been waiting in queue. imagine display in dmv have list of ticket numbers , running timer next each representing how long ticket has been pending.

any pointers on how functionality can achieved?

i'm trying see if fire timer every second, iterate on rows in grid when timer fires , update each row individually. approach sound okay?
