i want customize genetic optimization of mt5. example, want experiment different population sizes , selection methods. able tune default genetic optimization or should rewrite script or expert advisor. there api (or template) writing custom optimizers , possible in mt5?

it not possible alter optimization engine in mt5 far aware. if not totally restricted mt5, can recommend joining asirikuy, collaboratively develop own trading software, allow customize engine. there may other groups or open source software projects not require fees, asirikuy advanced know of.
