i've released titanium app on ios through app store. uses alloy models, views , controllers , hence saves info user inputs via alloy .save()
method. i've received feedback user after recent update, info wiped , none of saved info intact.
i thought alloy database saved private documents of device, hence keeping intact when user updates app. true?
what kind of things can troubleshoot see have gone wrong? have not written code remove database.

that's correct.

it sounds whole database removed. may happen if delete application. think improve test yourself. hard help if can't see source code. recommend if there no differences in alloy (maybe updated version of app uses newer version in different)... maybe info wasn't removed ,but changed name of database / tables. hard say...
