Fonts in Internet Explorer only load after I inspect the element -

i using custom font site (proximanova). in using @font-face, it's working fine firefox, chrome, safari, etc., not in net explorer. seems loading times new roman instead. oddly though, when utilize developer tools explore it, changes right font. see gif here (in illustration changes times new roman proximanova bold inspect elements): http://i.imgur.com/ghwcet8.gif

shortly after posted this, came across thread (strange @font-face issue in ie11 (renders after inspect element in developer tools)) which, of course, didn't come across before. sure enough, had empty font-family property and, in net explorer, apparently won't fall inherited font.
