JMeter save listener configuration as xml not working -

i seek save output file of listener (doesn't seem matter kind of listener, seek 'view results tree' listener) xml. can check 'save xml' flag, , when run jmeter plan, without closing gui, xml output. close gui , seek 1 time again output changes csv, in jmx file there still xml element true resultcollector. have same issue when run headless.

i tried changing jmeter.properties to

jmeter.save.saveservice.output_format=xml

and seems trick, mean cannot output csv format anymore. 'save xml' broken? i've got jmeter 2.11 r1554548, seems lastly stable 1 site of apache.

i suppose isn't expected behaviour? experienced similar? can reproduce scratch, consistently.

looks bug introduced in later versions of jmeter line no longer beingness saved jmx file.

old versions has in listener section of file (ver. < 2.9)

<objprop> <name>saveconfig</name> <value class="samplesaveconfiguration">

newer versions not have line (ver. 2.10 , 2.11 i've confirmed)

<objprop> <value class="samplesaveconfiguration">

i pasted missing line file , 2.11 loaded 'save xml' checked time.

might want open official bug study on issue , reference question in it.
