excel rep: 6.25009e+16

i want recover original information. possible? or, excel automatically dump original info if can format things number? (i have another, similar, problem leading zeroes.)

you might able recover part numbers clever scripting, leading zeroes you're pretty much screwed. excel "helpfully" tries cast strings recognizes other info types , not maintain re-create of original. has been known problem decade, in bio research: http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2105/5/80
