in ear containing web module , ejb module trying map ejb resources in was6 using ibm-ejb-jar-bnd.xmi. while installing ear inquire datasource mapping in map resource reference resources. question while installing ear if give different jndi name alter contents of ibm-ejb-jar-bnd.xmi ? while installing ear if settings or configuration changes can see them i.e path {was_install_root}/config or ? in advance.

yes, seems bnd files changed when alter resource reference mappings.

you can test exporting application console , opening zip tool. when install application:

the original ear file deployment options located in:

was_profile_home/config/cells/cellname/applications/appname

after installation finished application archives (the ear & wars) extracted in next place , used server there:

was_profile_home/installedapps/appname
