similar questions have been asked previously, relating ios 6 not 7. week i've been trying navigator.geolocation.watchposition work on 2 different ipads, 1 running 6.1.3 running 7.1.x , behaviour identical in both environments. watchposition fires 2-4 times after beingness called never runs again. if go home screen , 1 time again works 1 time again 2-4 times in rapid succession , quits.

chrome, safari , web app saved home screen work in same way. i've tried , without <meta content="yes" name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable"> tag.

i've exhausted combinations of api effort create work , thing i've come phone call getcurrentposition within of setinterval if user running ios, way less ideal. help appreciated.
