css - Bootstrap 3 slide in sidebar disconnects from menu when scroll? -

i trying create slide in navbar website have noticed when click on "icon button" open nav if scroll on page nav disconnects menu , scrolls content. sorta new @ bootstrap , not sure causing this.

i have tried alter

.side-collapse-container { width:100%; --> position:relative; left:0; transition:left .4s; }

to

.side-collapse-container { width:100%; --> position:fixed; left:0; transition:left .4s; }

however fixed causes different issue. when fixed add together unable scroll of content when "icon button" has not been clicked. content seems "locked"

can please advise how can right this?

when navigation goes mobile in media query, utilize this:

.side-collapse { left: 0; overflow: hidden; position: absolute; top: 50px; transition: width 0.4s ease 0s; width: 250px; z-index: 100; }

because have fixed-positioned navbar, sticking bottom, 1 time it's position changes absolute , top-height changed, works fine...
